This beautiful rose-themed wedding at the Driskill Hotel was definitely one for the history books. You truly had to be there to appreciate the love and laughter of the touching speeches, and the hilarious slideshow of the couple. Huge credit to Fairy Godmothers for pulling this together so quickly, The Driskill Hotel, Stems Floral Design, SWANK A/V, Premiere Party Central, and Austin Carriage Rides.

It was FREEZING the morning we took these shots, but the hike up to the overlook helped a bit. Abigail and Kyle were really good sports as I dragged them all over Austin on an epic engagement shoot. Luckily they brought plenty of outfit changes, even if Kyle did have to use a public ladies room. Just kidding, buddy! Seriously though, we had a blast and these two are so freakin’ cute together! Congratulations and I’ll see you at the wedding in April!

Brenna & Dan {Engaged}

Brenna and Dan were kind enough to travel to Austin (from Houston) for their engagement shoot. And of course, I then basically force them to drive another hour to Gruene, Tx. it’s one of my favorite shooting spots and I reserve it for couples who embody the spirit of the place. These two just shine and we had an absolute blast. Keep your eyes peeled for their wedding photos in a few months. Congrats guys!

I had the pleasure of recently shooting Skylar’s wedding, and now I can finally release these incredible bridal shots! We went truly old school with these and borrowed from old Hollywood and the Renaissance to truly showcase her elegance. I love these so much, and it was definitely worth the wait.

This lucky couple is tying the knot in San Juan. While I’m not lucky enough to get to travel with them, I was blessed with the opportunity to capture their engagement photos. I’ve known Holli for a few years now, and was thrilled an honored when she asked me to shoot a fashion/vintage bridal session with her. She’s an absolutely stunning woman, and just as beautiful on the inside. The gown is called “Domingo” designed by Cymbeline Paris. The teal wedding shoes are Jean-Michel Cazabat. The makeup and hair were styled by Amanda Pye. And of course the location is the ever beautiful Laguna Gloria in Austin, Texas.

It was a perfect fall day in the Texas hill country with Hacienda Del Lago providing an elegant and sophisticated backdrop. All of the decorations were handmade by family and friends, and the parasols were just the most perfect touch. Hints of orange and yellow peeked around every corner as the sun set through the lush green of the trees, matching perfectly Ashley’s bouquet. Thank you two for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day, and congratulations!
